Travel Grant Application

Students applying for a travel award must be both a national and a local student affiliates. The student’s faculty advisor must also be a current member of the ACS. Please complete the following information. Any item(s) left blank may delay application processing. Students receiving money from the CGACS must attend either the Awards Banquet in April 2006 or a fall 2006 CGACS meeting in Statesboro to present their paper to the Local Section.

Only presenting students are eligible. Monies may only be used to cover cost of registration (currently $69 at national meetings).

Supporting Materials Needed:

* Cover letter providing justification for grant. Include previous SAACS member activities involving the Coastal Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society, ACS and SAACS activities as well as role; such as ACS meeting(s) attended, committees chaired, offices held, etc.

* Copy of undergraduate's abstract for meeting with OASYS abstract identification number.
